Gated Intracoastal living in North Palm Beach
Life at Water Club
Water Club is a gated condominium community on the Intracoastal Waterway in North Palm Beach, just south of PGA Boulevard, with two 22-story towers and 20 villas on Water Club Court. Its appeal starts with open water views, a resort-style clubhouse and pool program, private boat slips and an easy reach to Palm Beach Gardens, golf and the beach.
I would introduce Water Club to a buyer who wants a full-featured waterfront community without giving up the convenience of U.S. 1 and PGA Boulevard. I like to see a tower residence and a villa with you on the same visit, because the two offer quite different ways to live on the water, and then spend a few minutes at the clubhouse and along the water to get a feel for the grounds.
- Location
- 1 and 2 Water Club Way and Water Club Court, North Palm Beach
- Setting
- Two 22-story towers and 20 villas on the Intracoastal Waterway, just south of PGA Boulevard and beside the Old Port Cove marina.
- Homes to consider
- Compare the tower floor and outlook toward the Intracoastal and Singer Island with the villas on Water Club Court, then look at the plan size, the private elevator entry, terraces and the garage and storage that belong to the residence.
- Amenities and access
- Water Club sits on the Intracoastal rather than on the ocean; confirm residence facilities, guest arrangements, parking rights and the current rules for boat slips, the day dock and visitors with the association.
The setting
What does daily life on the Intracoastal look like here?
Water Club is a gated community on the Intracoastal Waterway in North Palm Beach, just south of PGA Boulevard on U.S. 1. The developer set the two towers offset from each other to keep open sight lines to the water, and the Palm Beach Post noted their views of the Intracoastal and Singer Island. On a visit, spend time on the terrace of the residence you are considering at different times of day and notice the light, the boat traffic and the view across the water.

The residences
Would a tower residence or a villa suit your household?
The developer described tower residences of about 1,728 to 2,602 square feet and penthouses of about 2,499 to 3,330 square feet, designed around private elevator arrivals. The 20 villas on Water Club Court sit at the base of the towers in two- and three-story designs of about 2,412 to 3,065 square feet, and a recent villa listing describes a private elevator and an attached garage. When you tour, look at bedroom separation, space for guests and work, kitchen storage and the walk from your parking to your door, and ask which garage and storage spaces convey with the residence.

On the water
How would boating fit into your week?
Local coverage describes private boat slips, a day dock and short-term docking at Water Club, along with a launch area for small craft and kayaks. The Old Port Cove marina sits next door for anyone who would like a full-service marina close to home. If boating is part of your plans, ask early which slips are available with the residence you are considering and what the association’s current rules are for slips, the day dock and guest boats.

Wellness and gathering
Where would you exercise, relax and entertain?
The shared spaces center on a clubhouse of about 5,000 square feet with a bar and catering kitchen, a resort-style pool and spa, and a 75-foot lap pool. A fitness center with a yoga and Pilates studio, a pickleball court, a dog park, an outdoor kitchen, fire pits and a sculpted beach area round out the grounds, and two guest suites can be reserved for visitors. Tour the current facilities, ask about hours and guest arrangements, and picture how they would fit into your week.

What to explore on your first visit
I find Water Club suits buyers who want a gated, amenity-rich community on the Intracoastal with boating close at hand and Palm Beach Gardens a short drive away. If you are also looking at Azure in Palm Beach Gardens, the two make a helpful side-by-side comparison. On a first visit, I would compare a tower residence with a villa on Water Club Court, spend a few minutes at the clubhouse and pools, and walk down to the docks.
- Would a tower residence or a villa on Water Club Court better fit the way you plan to use the home, and which floor or outlook do you prefer?
- Which garage, storage, boat slip and guest arrangements belong to this residence, and what do the association’s current rules say about pets and leasing?
- Which shared spaces and services matter most to your household, and how are they offered today?
