I would start a Boca Woods visit with both courses, then follow the path members take from the sports facilities to lunch or an evening gathering. The club’s appeal lies in having several ways to be active within a residential setting. Comparing those everyday experiences will tell you more about the fit than a list of amenities alone.
Golf & practice
How would golf and practice fit into your week?
The Woods Course retains its Joe Lee heritage following a Rees Jones renovation. The Lakes Course was originally designed by Karl Litten and later redesigned by Kipp Schulties, with water influencing much of the round. Practice facilities include putting and chipping areas, a sand bunker, a driving range and a teaching area. Lessons, tournaments and golf associations add a social dimension to practice and play.

Tennis & pickleball
Where would you play racquet sports?
Seven Har-Tru tennis courts, four with LED lighting, support lessons, clinics, teams and game matching. Four lighted pickleball courts add another route into regular play. Mixers and social events connect the court facilities to the wider club calendar. Ask which groups fit your level and how a new member joins them.

Fitness & wellness
Where would you train and unwind?
Fitness offerings include personal training and classes such as Pilates, yoga, Tai Chi, strength training and water aerobics. Virtual workouts are available in the aerobics room when classes are not in session. These choices can make the sports campus useful for household members whose interests extend beyond golf and tennis.

Spa & personal care
Where would you unwind and take time for personal care?
The spa describes massage, facials and body treatments alongside hair and nail services. Sauna, steam and relaxation areas complement those appointments. For a buyer who values convenient wellness services, I would ask about booking lead times, available treatments and how the spa fits into a typical morning or afternoon at the club.

Dining & social life
Where would you dine and spend time with friends?
The Woods Dining Room, Cabana Grille and Bar & Lounge offer different settings for meals and conversation. The Cabana Grille brings casual dining poolside, while wine dinners, live music, themed evenings and holiday events give members reasons to gather. Tour the spaces at the times you expect to use them to understand their atmosphere.

Community setting
What should you explore about the community setting?
The club describes a landscaped setting with 37 lakes. Golf, water and interior positions can offer different outlooks within the community. I would connect the club tour to a property visit, paying attention to outdoor space, views and the journey between home and the facilities you expect to use most.

Your first visit
Would Boca Woods Country Club fit the way you want to live?
For Boca Woods, I would evaluate both the playing experience and the social routine. A buyer can enjoy the distinction between two courses while another household member builds a week around racquets, classes or dining. Confirm the property’s association and club obligations when comparing the complete cost and experience of each home.
- How do the Woods and Lakes courses compare from your preferred tees?
- Which racquet groups and wellness classes suit your weekly routine?
- What membership, association and guest-use terms apply to the home you are considering?
Ask how club membership would work with the home you are considering, including household and guest privileges, current costs and any obligations.
