Jupiter Dog Beach

Palm Beach County identifies a 2.5-mile dog-friendly stretch between dune crossovers #26 and #57, north of Ocean Cay Park and south of Carlin Park. Well-behaved, obedient and socialized dogs may play off leash there from sunrise to sunset.

• Respect posted “no dogs” areas and keep dogs out of lifeguarded beach areas, except qualifying ADA service animals.
• Pick up after your dog. Bring bags and water, supervise closely and consider heat, surf and wildlife.
• Follow posted rules on arrival. Off-leash permission in this designated beach area does not extend to every beach or park.

In most county parks, dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet. The county lists exceptions and separate dog parks; check the rules for the specific place you plan to visit.

Review number, size or breed restrictions, registration, common-area rules and any approval process. A neighborhood’s proximity to a dog beach does not establish permission for your pets at a particular property.
